We can handle anything, from the smallest parts up to 6 foot diameter rings and more - even guns! 

Our process conforms to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) specification AMS-2485. We also conform to military specification MIL-C-13924C (superseded by MIL-DTL 13924D) classes: 

  • Class I Alkaline oxidizing process (for wrought iron, cast and malleable irons, plain carbon, and low alloy steels) 

  • Class II Alkaline oxidizing process (for other corrosion resistant steel alloys) - Certifications available upon request. 

Rite-Way Black & Deburr does not comply with the chromic acid step 3.4.2. unless specifically requested. Parts with chromic acid do not meet RoHS and/or REACH and we recommend AMS 2485K as an alternative.
